If someone bids enough they can sign him, if they don't, they won't. I've no idea what 'first right to him' is supposed to mean, but it's obviously nonsense.

It means if someone bids for Hughes, and Derby are happy to accept the bid, Liverpool have the right to match it and speak to him before the other club. It's pretty straight forward.

INJURED: Adama Diomande.

ADAMA Diomande's plans for a Hull City debut at Brighton tomorrow are likely to be postponed by a groin injury suffered ahead of his deadline day move to the KC Stadium.

Diomande has so far been unable to take part in full training since arriving in East Yorkshire on Monday and has instead been receiving treatment from City's medical team.

The 25-year-old's injury is not considered a serious concern but Steve Bruce will not rush his new striker into action against the Seagulls tomorrow.

PROMOTED

It's SB,s training methods this is.

@PJBuckingham: Steve Bruce admitted [HASHTAG]#hcafc[/HASHTAG] are one of the Championship clubs to have shown an interest in #mufc's James Wilson. Unsure if possible.

The Diomande situation would make a loan for Wilson very timely.

Hoolahan for Norwich today was absolutely class. If we'd signed him last season we'd still be in the PL. Perfect attacking midfield player providing attacks through the centre.

He'd have gotten injured &Snodgrass would be there this season & you'd be saying that about him.:cheesy: But yeah he is a good player!

Been a class player for years now. Impressed he can still do it without a walking stick at his age, too.

He's scored one and got 4 assists so far this season. they've only played 5 games. Didn't our top assist player have 7 all last season, or something low like that?

7?

Stephen Quinn was our leading assistee, with a whopping grand total of 3 assists.

2 were corners, the third was one of his trademark super safe uninspired 5 yard sideways passes, which Diame then took right up to the edge of the box and smashed in that absolute belter against Newcastle, so he shouldn't really have much credit for that.

Even worse than I thought! Hoolahan has topped that after 5 games!!
