He's awful! Asks the most linear, obvious questions.Wonder if City will sign a new bloke to do interviews.

Chester's head was turned. Fair play to him he's got to think about his Wales career now as well.
£8m softened the blow a bit.
Huddlestone needs time on the bench- he might start playing better from doing so.
That's not really the case, he was more than happy to stay with us and didn't push for a move at all, he'd also be more than happy to return at some point.
With Wednesday signing Hooper, could we try for Nuhiu now? Decent target man and grabs a decent return of goals.
OK, give me his number and I'll see what I can do.
Here's hoping Malcom and Eddie Healey.
Although I'm not in the I hate the Allams and think they are the cause of everything bad in the world.
The Allams are both the best and worst owners we have ever had.
No they're going to get it given to them. Duh.There's more chance of somebody off here buying City than there is of the Healey's.
The Big Vern blog is proving very popular. Please feel free to have a look and contribute if there is anything useful to add.
The current theme is lawns and tomatoes if anyone has any expertise on these subjects.
Obviously nobody on here is going to be running the club. I would accept the lack of agreement on many things. One thing I think everybody on here agrees on is that we are too ponderous in our build up. Would you agree with that or would you not?Unfortunately we are now a Championship team, not a Premier League one. Few Premier League players would come to us when we were up there, it was only the influence and reputation of Steve Bruce that attracted the ones we did get. Even fewer would do so now. So you are right in what you say, we should be looking for those who are striving to make that grade. This means they are unproven. Some will make it, some will bomb. Steve Bruce has as good a track record as any at putting together a team (some experience, some fresh talent) which can escape upwards out of the Championship. We should probably trust his judgement.
Interestingly, if you look at all the posters on this forum who criticise Bruce and his selections and formations, you will see they cannot agree on who to pick and who to drop. They cannot agree on what formation to play or which players to pick in which position. They cannot agree who we should buy and who we should sell. They suggest all sorts of names who "we should get" without any idea if they are available, willing to come here, or able to play at this level never mind Premier League level.
In summary, this is a forum of opinionated "know all's", we are each entitled to our views, but they are of no real value. It's a bit of fun, but God forbid that anyone on here should ever get any power or influence over the club. If you think Bruce & The Allams have ****ed it up, imagine the utter catastrophe of having an individual or committee from here running it!
Maybe next season if the clubs switch divisions? That's not really the case, he was more than happy to stay with us and didn't push for a move at all, he'd also be more than happy to return at some point.
He's just dour. I like that - no bullshit.Maloney looked thrilled to be here didn't he.
Isn't this always the case with fans of a club as opposed to fans of other clubs? I bet that most fans of other clubs will say that Huddlestone is our best player. You need to be seeing a player week in week out rather than watching them on match of the day for a few minutes and the odd live match.well good news about finally tying up Maloney, hopefully can add a bit of desire and quality to proceedings. Word of caution over Nolan however, I have family who watch West Ham week in week out, they have seen Nolan for the full term of his stay, from what they are saying he should have gone last year, even when fit they describe him as being a liability now, despite having fond memories of him previously. They are suggesting a combination of aging legs and in juries have slowed him down. A couple of years ago Nolan was a terrific leader, but couple him in the middle with pedestrian pete aka Huddlestone and we`re asking for trouble.

Im going to buy the club as I keep saying. Just as soon as I win the $500 million lottery. My purchase keeps getting delayed as I never get any of the numbers right. But surely someone might, after all, it not unusual for some pointless fool or another to demand that a poster should buy the club just to enable them to post an opinion, so it must really be a doddle.
