Get fed up with same old Xmas Tunes and can get merry any day I choose. Generous all year round and don't need the excuse of xmas to give or get merry. Watched Panto all season at SOL..... Roll on the New Year!!

:afro:

Deffo a humbug Christmas dinner as well man scranning tits off and putting on 2 stone lol

I love Christmas.

I’ve no kids or owt, maybe next year, but I love the whole atmosphere of it, even all the daft carry on at work etc.

My dad is quiet fella but loves a full house, great host, everyone goes there for dinner and he sits there happy as a pig in **** till he invariably ends up hammered and asleep by 6, at which point me and the mother usually go o to another level and end up hammered singing Womack & Womack in the kitchen.

What’s not to like about a time of happiness?

See that's what Christmas is all about I wish I still had my family for all that. Still have mother and sister and her bairns so I guess it's up to me to now to have good crack eat **** loads and be asleep by 6 <cheers>

I would like to add though, its great for young families watching their kids open all the presents. But one thing that humbugs me is people who send cards just because they've received one! Should give presents and send cards out of the goodness of your heart and not expect anything in return....... Womenfolk to blame for this imo...........:emoticon-0136-giggl

I don't bother with cards don't get any male friends presents either that would just be weird.

Just lass and family don't mind buying them had a good year so enjoy sharing.

All the very best to you and yours mate. And I don't care what anybody says, please keep the information coming in 2020!

Cheers mate, all the best to you.

I'll post what I'm told, if I trust the source, in good faith.

So far some of my 'lies' have been about Ross going, Methven going, McGeady going, the Americans becoming involved, investing money and wanting local people on board.

What I haven't been right about, so far, was the full takeover ...

... I'll take my share of the blame with the BBC, Love Supreme, RR, etc as well as Ross who said he'd been introduced to the new owners.

Who introduced them to him, Sampson or Delilah ...
... or Donald himself perhaps.

Whatever the case I've no doubt they'll be involved for many years.

The nativity was great, really enjoyed seeing my little girl up there. She had a great time, loved being on the stage and seemed to be conducting some kind of impromptu stand up at the side when she wasn't on it. She's a funny one, full of beans.

Yep forget the trials and tribulations of a faltering football club..

I've enjoyed (endured?) several nativities/Christmas shows.... 20, 3 year olds singing Wish You a Merry Christmas will make even the most hardened heart lachreymos.. a couple of carol concerts to come. Logs all ready for the fire, brandy and wine awaits...i do not like mince pies but pantonee(? sp) is good.

Yep I like Christmas

Merry Christmas to all!

Big fan of it in the main, and there is definitely something different about the atmosphere at this time of year. Still bloody weird celebrating Christmas when its 35 degrees, cannot get used to that! Really miss the cold and dark of England and the pretty lights at this time of year. But by the time the cricket starts on Boxing Day and I'm sat outside with a frosty beer I get over it! <cracker>

Haha! It cracked 42 here on Monday, but then dropped suddenly in the night. Weekend looking comfortable-ish - low thirties all weekend. Keep cracking the beers OM! :emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer:
