My wife's Grandpa is on the verge too. Palliative care only. Sad, but it's the best thing for him to just slip away

This is what I love about this place, and in particular the annual Christmas thread.
I know there's a "things that aren't worth a new thread" thread, but I think the Christmas thread brings out the good in people...just a generally good, warm hearted thread.
