First Christmas without my wifes mam. It'll be a struggle and different but we'll make it work.
We always do Christmas at their place, swim in the pool etc. Looks like it may be at ours which will be really odd.

There's nothing like Christmas for making you think about family mate.
My son wanted to repaint his bedroom. When asked what colour he wanted it painted he said “I want one wall green, one red and the rest white….. because they’re the colours of Christmas. “ he’s just turned 8. we duly obliged.
It looks quite cool actually. found our old tree in storage which he took to his room and decorated.
Will get the main tree /decorate downstairs next weekend. I’m cooking for 8+1 this year, +1 being the dog

We will be spending Christmas day with son and family, and Boxing day with daughter and family which we both will be looking forward too.
Tree and decorations will be happening next weekend when the girls come round and with the wife set about it, then we will watch Elf, its a kind of ritual every year.
Will post some pics when done.

That is a fantastic lived in home that though mate. I have no little semen demons at home nor any pets now. Hence it looks fairly tidy.
That's about half 9 every morning in my house.
Only a matter of time before they have to be snowpersons
Or stick an extra carrot on it...take away any doubt.
Ready for the four Grandkids .
