Reminds me of a 4 timer I had at Cheltenham (probably in the 70's). We had just £5 between us (or rather my girl friend had £5 in her hand bag) and I stuck it on a 4 horse accumulator, one of which was 8/1. Had to go through photo finish and stewards' enquiry
on a red hot favourite for the 4th leg but came out with £500. wish I could remember the names. The 8/1 winner might have been Leander Blue but I'm guessing
 
Pretty ridiculous way to win a Champion Chase. Sizing Europe totally ruined by that late swerve.
 
What a farce at the end there in my opinion. This is the pinnacle of racing ffs. Sizing probably didn't want to make most either but I do think it was the whole incident at the last which cost him that race. I hope Dickie is ok mind but the stewards really fcked that up.
 
Lol at the sizing fans crying finians was just ad badly bumped and had to switch. Btw I was on Kauto stone
 
The course officials will have to hold their hands up over that. Farcical.

Fingers crossed Dickie is ok.
 
Not sure we can say Sizing would have won the race, but one thing is for sure, it looked an absolute farce. They should have just cordoned it off straight away. Nasty fall and with horse going into crowd it had to be cordoned off.
 
Made a mockery of the sport there. Champion Chase ruined by a complete lack of decisiveness.
That's not sour grapes either.
