Came down to a stamina test and Bobs Worth loves that. Very good performance. I'm not banging the drum but Sir Des Champs would have loved that race- Call The Police was 3rd and Sir Des Champs is regarded much, much higher, and would have stayed.

I agree Quel about First Lieutenant - thought today would be his day if Grands Crus didn't win. He just couldn't settle for the first mile.

Looks like Bob's Worth is a much better horse going left-handed.

    Well done Yorkies and Dan.

I stated in November the folly of backing hurdlers to make chasers and in particular AF,GC and PC...I knew GC was a non stayer but wouldn't have backed BW tbh.

No doubt there will be many cueueing up to back Cinders and Ashes,Overturn and Simonsig for next years novice events.

    Utter folly.

    Afternoon all.

Great day for the punters there telling me on TV. Well that's bloody lies-Im a punter and my days been ****e thus far.

Sizing Europe has never been a horse I've really warmed to but by golly I'm wanting him to win the next!! Have had a small saver on Finian's, purely because of stable form, but my two saver's thus far have been Binocular and First Lieutenant <laugh> IN OTHER WORDS GET ON BIG ZEB PEOPLE <laugh>

I won't oppose Sizing Europe in the Queen Mother George, him and Big Zeb should fight out the finish.
