It's been a funny old day:

On the downside I have had a bad reaction to painkillers and have had probably the most painful day of my life - constipation is not something you want during the Festival.

On the plus side my agonies meant I only had one bet on Simonsig and won back all of yesterdays losses and am now slightly ahead.

You'll be as relieved as I am to hear that the stubborn flood gates finally opened at 8.53 and I now feel on top of the world!

By the way, I'll have to change my forum name now Henderson and beaten Fulke's record. Well done to NJ though.

Fair play to Nicky Henderson, but there are alot more races nowadays at the festival, compared to what there were when Fulke Walwyn was training

Still up and going to only back a fiver today as I started to chase and had a bad day.

Not one bastard winner today but ....

Day four, we go to WAR!
