Well we’re saving on Bennett, offer him 15k that puts him in the range of the other players salaries.
He might make a good player-youth coach? Get him and Leon training up the youngsters and we’ll be set for years to come
"We are clear in what we want. I don’t know if we will get all of what we want, or some of what we want or if we will get any of what we want".-RM..........You'll be lucky!.....
“I cannot lose any sleep or stress about whether we will lose any of our players, we just have to be ready for whatever happens, and I think we are" - RM.......Yanks looking to capitalise on Our striker aye!.......
I hear rumours that there are Brazilian interests wanting to take over the club? Anyone else heard anything? The Yanks are desperate to dump us, thank God!.........
If successful, the Brazilians are looking to turn The Liberty into a corned beef manufacturing plant. No bull.
Your post inspired me, to once again, check out Mr. Bradley's wiki entry. His career is outlined for all to see, comment on, and criticise. I scoured everywhere for the details of your illustrious career, but, alas, can find nothing, other than pointless, insulting, posts on 606. There's millions of them, " aye ". Nowhere have I found any criticism of your lack of ability by Mr. Bradley. Too much class, and style to do so. You could learn a great deal from him. As regards the " hapless Yanks ", there's nothing quite as " hapless " as someone whose sole contribution hereabouts is to criticise. " Aye, aye !! "
Neco Williams is joining Nottingham Forest for 17 million. How the **** did we let Connor Roberts go for around 2.5 million. We are lightweights when it comes to transfer dealings.
Length of contract remaining is usually a major factor in the fees. Playing Devil's Advocate, again. What does it matter how much the Club got/get for any individual player ? The owners are the only ones affected. Their players; their Club; their money; their decisions. Consequently, there is no " we ".
Simple answer really - if 'The Owners' get more for a player sale, then maybe 'they' can afford to spend a bit more on a replacement. It's more profit for 'them' isn't it ? And whilst you continue to refuse to acknowledge the emotional attachment that lifelong fans of a football club invest in, "We" is a very appropriate term to use. The fans will be with the club a lot longer than any owners.
Whichever way you cut it, the owners still own the Club, and " we " have no say in the running of it. " Emotional " attachment is fine, but too many people think that gives them some kind of input into the running of the business. Clearly, it doesn't. At the end of the day the football supporter is merely a customer, and if they accepted that status, they wouldn't get so het up about it. Now just where did I " continue to refuse to acknowledge the emotional attachment ... " ? Do you know what the phrase " Devil's Advocate " means ?
