Is a long and tortious journey reaching fruition? They say it's the hope that kills you C'mon RM, we want you to succeed
And still, nothing has changed with our inept defense, schoolboy defending all season long!............
Good read that Glam, fair play, doesn't surprise me that Cabongo is one of our lowest paid players!.....
Manning and Grimes will not be here next season, and it wouldn't surprise me if other players want to go, looking very bleak for competing at this level with the under investment in the squad, and the bad purchases and management, as an example, paying £26,000.00 per week for Nitchum as a bit part player , coming on as sub? ......
Marsh only joined last Summer so not sure how close he was to Martin - he came from Huddersfield where Julian Winter was, but I’m not sure if they were there at the same time.
Hope so . The rebuild has to really start somewhere ! It starts with a manager others missed that can bring in some decent free transfers that has more than 1 game plan, that knows how to research other teams weaknesses, demands and commands respect. And to start can make a silk purse out of a sows ear ! and steadily replace at least half the team ? It's a pity we can't just get any players in as we want on a 3 month trial to get some good ones out of a pile of average tryers before offering contracts !
Swansea City midfielder Jay Fulton has signed a new contract to extend his stay with the club through to the summer of 2026. The Scot, the longest-serving player in the first-team squad having joined the Swans in January 2014, had been due to see his previous deal expire at the end of June 2024. But his new contract will potentially see him reach a dozen years in Swansea colours, with Fulton having recently made his 200th appearance for the club. He has enjoyed an outstanding 2022-23 season, dovetailing superbly with captain Matt Grimes in the middle of the park.
