He had one decent season but gradually got worse and worse. He might have been a better finisher than what we have now but by the time he left us he had become a right jessie! He wouldn't even get into the positions Fryatt and McLean have been missing from.

I WOULD. He was very good when we had Deano and Campbell. I blame Phil Brown for his poor efforts. Folan is big and strong and knows how to hold the ball up. Playing under Nick may just may be what we need. But my gut feeling is that he will look at another MLS club. Its also worth noting that Folan had more match winning goals for City than FC. Coventry @ home and WBA away are just 2 that spring to mind.

Surely we would be better looking @ an emergency loan?

i would say so But just adding my thoughts on it. i still think that Folan will look for another MLS club. Deano did say that Folan had it all except bravery - that was lost @ Blackpool on his debut. But he wiould be an option i guess and there are not many around at the moent.

There are plaenty of Premier League strikers that would be available on loan

DQPR appear to have the most spare strikers available at the moment. Hulse - Smith - Mackie - Bothroyd by chance ? In saying that they have just lost Cisse for 3 games after being sent off on saturday. <doh>
