Is Kofi a man of colour off OPE?

Did your “white” lad off OPE read English & Journalism at University?

Did your “white” lad off OPE apply for the same competitions, roles & opportunities as Kofi or did he just moan that he’d have been king of the world without all these educated & qualified people of colour unfairly being allocated all the good jobs, obviously whilst stoking his crack pipe.

It’s the widespread trait of idiots to think that some people that they don’t find entertaining should have their race, gender & sexuality weaponised by suggesting they are merely “filling quotas” rather than, in there opinion, not very good.

Is it not possible to just say “I think he/she is ****”? Others have managed it.

Their opinion…Kofi will have known that if he read English at university.

Funny, because its not on the press release? https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2016/kofi-smiles-face-of-hull

It couldn't just be that a black man was the best candidate could it?

Its telling this subject has come up when we're talking about Burnsy. Back to the subject, I think we'll be a poorer region without his show.

Well I heard the final interviews in my car with my wife and we both said Lucy was the voice of Hull, we both knew she wouldn’t get it, our opinion I know.
But he definitely was not the best candidate out of the three.

Lucy was the best, but as you say you just knew it wouldn’t be her who was chosen.

But that’s the thing, it’s your opinion.

The press release said they’d been through numerous screen tests, was Kofi better in them?

Who knows. But to say it’s because of one singular reason is really unfair.

I quite like the fella as a person, I’ve spoken to him in Hedon Sainsburys, and he’s very likeable, but he’s just not a breakfast show presenter for local radio, he would be good on Viking, he comes across more as a DJ rather than a presenter.

I presume you're suggesting that contemporary radio hosts tend to exhibit vibrant, spirited, and charismatic demeanors. However, it appears that you desire a more subdued, seasoned, and timeless presence in the broadcasting realm.

Yes, correct. Time and a place and all that

Charismatic is not the word that springs to mind when I think of Kofi.

...... because it has to come down to skin colour. Always.
To be 100% honest. I don't know the guy in question. Never listened to him. Very, very rarely listen to Blunderside, other than City. Never seen a picture of him. TBH I have no idea if he's sky-blue pink. You mentioned skin colour, not me.
