So, that answers the question as to if Stoke could hack it on a freezing Tuesday night in Burnley.
Our lot demand entertainment airlie above winning.Exactly, its winning football, if you're a fan of a small club and you're winning PL games then quite frankly, you're not going to give a **** how those results come about.
If you offered our fans 4th in the PL and dull football then they'd take it every day of the week, I know I would.
Burnley fans will openly admit they are not the most expansive or exciting team to watch, they're also realistic enough to know if they tried playing like that with this squad then they wouldn't be anywhere near as successful, they have a resourceful manager and a group of players giving their all, whats not for them to like?
That Barnes is a horrible **** tho, we can all agree on that.
Who was it he elbowed at,our place? Twat
Thats why I think many a Pre club will ultimately overlook Dyche. Maybe they will feel he could not coach flair players with fans demanding attacking football. Is Mark Hughes on borrowed time too...!!!
Judging by last night, they've plenty of spare seats.
To be fair the population of Burnley is only 70,000 or 80,000 and with a lot of other clubs on their door step they get pretty well supported.

I seem to remember another unfancied team getting to third place in the Premier League a few years ago. Unfortunately, from that point on it all went tits up and they only just avoided relegation that season but did go down the following one.

That reminds me of the season we did it. Weird thing is I can't quite remember what happened after October.
first 9 games 20 pts
next 8 games 7 pts
next 21 games 8 pts

Think we need Barch's take on this one.
