Aye like Brighton and Burnley are more football orientated than Manchester and London.

A larger proportion of the population go to games in Burnley and Brighton. Burnley was a founder member of the football league, unlike any teams from the cities you mention. You can play this any way you like.

Few can match Nailsworth (Forest Green Rovers) for proportion of their population attending.

I seem to remember another unfancied team getting to third place in the Premier League a few years ago. Unfortunately, from that point on it all went tits up and they only just avoided relegation that season but did go down the following one.
That was very early doors, Burnley are there after almost half a season and Southamption finished 6th (think) a couple of seasons ago but all this pales in comparison to what Leicester did.
