Another thing Burnley are doing right is simply keeping hold of Dyche, but for how long? Don't think they can do a Blackburn or a Leicester though.
Burnley have all but secured safety from relegation - meaning more funding for their actual, seeming, long term plan.
A superficial observation (and no doubt flawed) but mirrowing Brexit, across the divisions, are we seeing the return to winning ways and mode for solid, organised British football?
Justafort anyway.
Looking at the resources available to him compared to other clubs Dyche is doing an amazing job
It's hard to understand any criticism of the playing style either unless you want more attractive losing football
rather than winning games

2,500 empty seats last night compared to an average of 5,000 empty seats or us in PL last season. Not bad for a town a third of the size with a lot more nearby clubs.
I hear their fans cast eyes enviously towards the east at big clubs in big cities that are the best run in their league.
I see some of their fans saying reasons of empty seats include low wages, number of games this week, price of tickets. What sort of fans come out with stuff like that? Next thing they will be saying it is because after a couple of seasons in the PL the novelty has worn off.
Must be why there is a Spanish manager leading a foreign legion on a romp to the PL title.![]()
I think not.
They have a mono cultural dressing room. The manager is on the same page as all the players who are NW European. No linguistic cliques or hard to motivate cultures. They have selected their larkers carefully and when Boyd is ready to be shipped out they replace him with Walters. Like for like. That Belgian Dufour was a departure from the norm, scored a great goal v us, but the manager seems to prefer athletes.
Tried and tested formula.
When Dyche exits, watch the Clarets plummet.

Blackburn just bought promotion, then the title.
Man Utd, Man City & Chelsea buy it every year, Blackburn & Leicester were refreshing changes.
Agreed.
Without further analysis (as can't be arsed), bar the clubs who have relative fortunes to spend, in this divsision are we seeing similar at Cardiff, Bristol C, Sheff U etc
Nowt else to do there.
Sheep watching?
The common response when smaller places get larger crowds.
There's no logic between the size of the place and the size of the crowds, its pointless trying to make sense of it.
It suggests the populations of some places are more football orientated with nowt else to do than others .
Agreed.
