I see Bulut has revealed that Ramsey will be out for 10-12 weeks.
Bad news for The Bluebirds and you Welsh fans.
Is it too early Sparkey to be considering a January transfer thread? With our injuries at the moment we’re going to find it a bit of a struggle and surely there must be some behind the scenes negotiations especially as we can buy players from the new year.

Maybe a bit early Irish but what the hell - I'll post a thread and make it a sticky. <ok>

Just heard that on the radio. Not good.

If Colwill doesn't get a run of games now, he might as well leave.

Cheers Sparkey.

It should be an interesting transfer window. I wonder how much money we will get to spend. And will we be looking for more loan players in the meantime if the injuries situation gets worse?

Don't know exactly how much Tan got from that settlement with Miller Insurance, but he should bung that in the pot at least.

I've also read that O'Dowda has had surgery and will be out for 10-12 weeks.
Given our LB issues, as big a blow as Ramsey.

We're now in danger of rushing players back before they're really 109%. It's going to be a tough ask for the youngsters to get us through until everyone is back
We certainly won't want any knee jerk reaction from Tan if things slide a bit

It's his job to get the best out of them.
I think his 'playing with 10 men' comment is a bit extreme though.
We need one of them on the field for a chunk of a game.

Agreed on all counts Remote.

As its Blackburn on Saturday I can see him going with the 3 more defensively minded ones again.

Not sure that's the right tactic as it will invite them onto us and no positive link up with the front 3.

I remember when Earnshaw was on the pitch solely to score goals and didn't do much else but he was indispensable to the team. Lineker & Greaves likewise before him.

Times though have changed and forwards are expected to do a lot more all over the pitch. I’ve noticed the few times he’s played this season how little he does off the ball. He may be a talented player but if Bulut won’t start him then will he change his approach when brought in off the bench?

Somehow I doubt it and wouldn’t be surprised if he’s off the books in January and replaced.
