It's his job to get the best out of them. I think his 'playing with 10 men' comment is a bit extreme though. We need one of them on the field for a chunk of a game.
Agreed on all counts Remote. As its Blackburn on Saturday I can see him going with the 3 more defensively minded ones again. Not sure that's the right tactic as it will invite them onto us and no positive link up with the front 3.
I remember when Earnshaw was on the pitch solely to score goals and didn't do much else but he was indispensable to the team. Lineker & Greaves likewise before him. Times though have changed and forwards are expected to do a lot more all over the pitch. I’ve noticed the few times he’s played this season how little he does off the ball. He may be a talented player but if Bulut won’t start him then will he change his approach when brought in off the bench? Somehow I doubt it and wouldn’t be surprised if he’s off the books in January and replaced.
