Not quite sure where Sol would have fitted in. No doubt he would have helped with the understanding of the club, the fans, the league and the teams we'll be up against. Here's the article on Sol's departure.

Hope the new keeping coach is up to it. The last few we've had have done ok.Ramasut is staying so not a complete break from last seasons back room staff
Agreed, with Rambo it's probably another Bale like "will he or won't he" story that will drift away to nothing, however, I wouldn't be averse to him signing for a season so long as his wages don't "break the bank".Hope the new keeping coach is up to it. The last few we've had have done ok.
Looking forward to seeing the playing staff turnover.
Bulut will no doubt bring a few foreigners in. It will be interesting to see how they turn out.
Our loanees will take some replacing and a few 1st team squad members need to be shown the door.
Adams and Collins coming back will be a boost. Probably 4 or 5 others that will be 1st team regulars. Some who were regulars will become squad players.
Probably need 4 new starters and 3 or 4 squad players new, then a couple of the young guns pushing for a starting place.
I see Colwill got 2 penalties for Wales U20s last night. Feels a sh!t or bust season for him.
After seeing bits of Ramsey in the last 2 Wales games, the glitter of rumours of him coming back have tarnished for me. He's always had a languid style, but he looked as if his legs have gone. I feel he'd be a luxury player rather than bring drive to the engine room.
I suppose in a 4231 he could play in the middle of the 3 if he had legs around him.
It would be a fillip off the field, but not sure how it would pan out on it. Probably Bale-like hot air anyway.

I remember when we (incl many of you) were younger; We'd generally go into a new season hoping to survive a Div2 relegation fight. Indeed, we didn't expect anything more. On occasion we'd have a decent season where we'd finish above mid table and on one occasion there was actually an outside chance of promotion to the hallowed Div 1 (which faded towards the end of the season). Regardless we loved our club and loved the challenges that each season brought. We even stayed alongside them when we were relegated and celebrated if promotion was achieved again. I'm sure that some of you were among the 35½k at Ninian Park in 1976 (I was there age 9).
I'm looking forward to this season for all of the reasons above. I don't expect anything but can dream, the same way that I dreamt in my earlier days. We've had an astonishing 20 years with more success than I'd ever witnessed. Good heavens, we've even been to an FA Cup final and League Cup Final - and completed! Not too mention the 2 promotions to the top tier.
So, no pressure on Bulut and the team. All we ask is for some good football, plenty of excitement and to be entertained. To be fair, the club aren't even charging us the earth for season tickets either

Be honest now, is it alcohol, weed or nitrous oxide?

I agree about Ramsey...like Bale the luxury life has left him with little fight in his belly. I have no idea what the hell Dalman thinks will get the fans exited over an imminent big signing. At this time tan will need to sign a player for his other team ( he had 2 and sold one) and loan him to us like he did with Zohore.Hope the new keeping coach is up to it. The last few we've had have done ok.

I see Bulut has revealed that Ramsey will be out for 10-12 weeks.
Bad news for The Bluebirds and you Welsh fans.
Is it too early Sparkey to be considering a January transfer thread? With our injuries at the moment we’re going to find it a bit of a struggle and surely there must be some behind the scenes negotiations especially as we can buy players from the new year.
But there is more shape this year for sure
