Ian garmston is part of the same group that "i saw the premier league tigers" got his info from the other day . he is part of the OSC cottingham branch that is clearly biased towards barmby (going to man utd academy as coach) and adam pearson (finally found out for the person he is ) ...

one question to that reliable info ... why 3.5 years ... that takes us to a january ? ??

However just to completely confuse matters Burnsy's just put on twitter 'I'm told the Allam's and Steve Bruce will meet Friday afternoon to hopefully seal the deal. #hcafc',

Do Humberside not speak to each other or something? From what he's said it doesn't exactly sound signed and sealed...

I thought Mike White's comments to Stuart Rowson were VERY interesting. He couldnt have been keener to point out that Burnsy wasnt on this story. Bit of tension in the Beeb ranks perchance?

Personally I love the thought that we could have a "household name" manager. It would send a serious message out about the owners desire to get us into the PL.As for my last post, I am simply saying that after hardly ever reading about the OSC all of a sudden its all over the threads like a rash. It all seem so disjointed and it puzzles me.

but it dosn't does it.hes ****

Huge coup if true. Shame he'll probably be gone well before January, when some poor soul loses their job ridiculously early in the season.

I don't like the guy, and I believe many are in the same boat, but it's still a fantastic appointment.

Sends out a message and raises our profile dunnit? We might actually get some live tv games now...

no its ****

signals real intent IMO .. add to that the money that Bruce would have wanted on players and then you begin to wonder .. Was Barmby telling the truth ? ... anyway hes off to Man utd academy so no biggy

Is it actually all done and dusted, has he signed yet or does he still have to meet with the Allams to thrash out the details. I hope it comes off but there is still a part of me that is worried that he will not "fit in" with what the Allams want. Will be interesting to see how this goes, we know Nige had issues with the Allams and then what happened to Nick so I just can't help being cautious.

I have been conned into thinking it was a 'done deal' about 3 times in the last month, so i'll wait until it happens... but as I have said before, i'll be very happy with Bruce.

Do we? Or do we know the LCFC owners offered him a **** load of money and he claimed he had unfinished business to do?

I could of course be wrong, so if you can direct me to a link, with direct quotes from Nige explaining the problems he had with the Allams, I'd be grateful.

Unless you're wanting to aim above securing a midtable finish in the Premier League I fail to see why it's a bad appointment.

i fail to see why we had to wait for a **** unemployed manager to give us the nod...............
