Despite the Hornets bad form it was quite a high scoring week for us on here. Pride of place goes to Fez here, who in an ungentlemanly way jumped ahead of Mrs Fez with a score of 127. Thus moving into third. Chris also did well with 105 moving into 4th. All a little bit closer at the top now. Fortunately there were no jokers played on the postponed Rotherham v Derby match, so all jokers counted. Yorkie has decided to throw away the anchor and start to rise up the table. Who will be the leader going into the new year ? We will find out next week after our Boxing Day edition.

. This earthquake of 163 has forced Mark into second and only 25 off the leadership. Thus Hackney got a great score of 110 but didn't rise at all. Other high scorers were theghost with 138 and Paul with 107. Reasons for all these high scores were not only the Hornets winning by a predictable scoreline but also reasonably predictable results at Blackburn, Bristol City and Cardiff - lots of points came from these matches. There were 3 postponements this week and so the next round in 2 weeks time will include 10 Championship matches, as usual, with 'reserve' fixtures taken from elsewhere (mostly from the Premiership) - these tips will come into the reckoning in the event of postponements.
Our other haymaker was Andy with 121. Matej slipped on a bit of a banana skin this week, which would have been a perfect opportunity to close the gap which happened but only by a little. Still, it's close at the top with only 50 points separating the top 3 places. For the first time one of the reserve fixtures came into play with the match at Burnley replacing the postponed fixture at Barnsley.
