More importantly, who is going to be in charge of the plate of orange quarters at half time?

I think Helguson could have knocked more in than Bobby but oh well!

Impportant job - the oranges will need to be disected, named and presented on the plate as the team formation for the next half, as a reminder of where everyone is supposed to stand once the oranges are gutted.

MH - We're having discussions with Bosingwa's advisors. We think we're close. We'll maybe know more over the next few hours or so #QPR

MH - Jose would bring the right qualities to us if we can get the deal over the line. Players of his ilk are keen to join us #QPR

I think he would of played that recently but he hasn't so agree too risky ... saying that I am certain he will change our formation to beat the opposition ... last season he was limited but made us solid in the end ... this year he can pick a team to suit so expect a back six when we play city away etc etc

I dont know, its a 532 when we dont have the ball and it would allow Taarabt to play in the middle but then we cant play any of the gazillion wide players we have.

From his purchases I keep thinking he is going to change to 4 -2 - 3 - 1 but even so with Barton gone (hopefully) and ali Injured leaves us well short in the 2. Roll on tomorrow so the guessing can end.

It is...but 3 at the back is a notoriously difficult system for players and especially the centre backs to get used to!
I'm hoping we will see 4-2-3-1 used a lot as this will also allow Taarabt some freedom. A lot of options though with the squad we're putting together.

A 4231 probably wont work with Cisse and therese no place for him but its ideal for all our attacking midfielders. Zamora is a doubt so we might have to go to it by default.

532 what? 3 at the back? FFS on both sides our wide players will double up and exchange space and position. Keep up with the modern game lads its not that rigid and you can't overlook the movement across the pitch. Each game and formation at this level today will be based on solid research and data MH is renowned for that and the exact planning will change throughout the season to mesh with the opponent on the day

I think a 3 of Park, Taarabt and Hoilett behind Cisse would work just fine.

Or he will try to impose our system on them rather than have us react to the opposition every week.

Think Park would be part of the 2 with no Faurlin and maybe no Diakite. Im not sure Cisse can play up front on his own. Its more suited to a HH, Zamora, Carroll type of player.

You could fit Cisse in several places in that formation, I'd say he would fit in perfectly. His happy to go down either Channel, to get in the box, effective in fast break, good one on one and will try and create chances. Hmm which bit doesn't he fit into ? He could also play on either side of the 3. You'll need to enlighten my why he wouldn't ?

Cisse commented a few weeks ago in an official interview that he wouldn't mind playing out wide as he did a couple of times towards the end of last season, which might suggest 4-5-1, but with so many wide players it's hard to imagine what we will end up playing. But I can't see us leaving out Cisse very often, he's just too deadly up front.

I was talking about when everyone is available. I thought someone said Diakite was available for tomorrow? Park will play CM tomorrow for sure with either Derry or Diakite. Why is Zamora a doubt?
