There's no way weve spent up on borini gus aint daft I think borini is worth every penny and its about time we put our money where our mouth is I have no doubt this is one of 4 big signings thats my opinion

His celebration is the same for every goal at each different club.

Does anyone have any idea wtf it's about?

Would pay 30 million if he scores the winners again against the nags:1980_boogie_down:Whether we like it or not we are just paying market rate. He wants to be at Sunderland....great signing for me<ok>

As long as we get QUALITY in I'm dead chuffed we've got Borini in on a permanent deal. My only gripe is that the noises coming from the club seem to indicate to me that the budget is tight. If we've just spuunked our entire kitty up the wall on one player who we already have decent cover for, and will now be selling to buy to fill the other 5 places which we are DESPERATELY weak in, then this would be a **** up. End of the days none of us knows the financial situation so I'm willing to trust Gus.

More I think about it the more I'm happy with this signing tbh. I can't believe Gus would blow everything on one player, he's too smart for that.

I think we've got the cash to spend but Ellis won't clog up the wage bill. We need Cabral, Diakité, Roberge, Graham, Scocco and possibly Aflie all of the books or I think we'll be limited in what Congerton can do.

It's some kind of assassin salute , Knife between the teeth.

The lad has passion for the club he scores goals, has pace, can get assists, works his bollocks off.

Great signing. He clearly won't be the only one either.

Remember we were always going to have to spend a lot of money this window just to stand still. We sign Alonso and we are pretty much where we were last season. Hopefully some youngsters will step up. I think we will sign more players too.

Let's hope we see his celebration a lot more next season.

I can keep my signature now :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Hope this is all bull, would like borini, however how can Liverpool make a profit on a player who has albeit through injury, failed. He did ok for us last year, but ok, so did welbeck. I hear all this he works hard blah blah but as bad as they all where bar alonso (who got sent off) against Norwich away last year in the very big game his attitude was terrible so all this Sunderland at heart pAh.

Ffs no more than 10

As per my previous post, this still is us weaker at this stage than the survival of religation, just hoping the three reported medicals tomorrow post is true , borini can be one of them but please no where near that price, if alonso is second of three great but still no stronger than last year.

It's a little bit too much, but in simple terms, as a fan, I want Fabio here, so **** it.

I'd imagine to pay the full 14 the lad has to really go some, at which point he'd likely be worth at least 20.

Disco,

I'm with you mate, Alonso is my numero uno of the loanees I want back, easily.

Think I'm the only one who's most keen to get him in than Borini to be honest, may be the fact I was a defender when I played and frankly... A ****ing left back, at Sunderland???!

I'd be staggered if it doesn't come off lads. Marco and Fabio can be the two loan signings who actually came back. We'll have a very good leftback and a hungry you striker for 15 million and it's reasonably low risk.

Would be pleased. Would think we still need to spend another 15ish mind. Hopefully the money is there.

You know, spending a few quid will attract other players as well, it's showing some ambition and claws.

It's too high for sure, but this is a 23-year old lad whose played for Italy, who scored big goals in big games, including penalties under immense pressure.

The biggie is a creative centre mid, that's what we are crying out for.

Mutch? Could be the english name on that medical list Rackem was on about? If we get those three in then Congerton and Poyet were spot on in persistence and patients in the transfer market as we'll have landed three of our main targets of the summer.
