Technically, isn't he both. He hardly featured for Liverpool but he did do well for you.

For what it is worth, the TV money has inflated prices somewhat but you have made a cracking signing. It shouldn't have eaten up your entire budget as I am positive you would have had a "maximum price in mind" as to not affect the purchasing of other targets.

No. He was never bought by Liverpool to compete for the first team, he was bought as a young lad on a long contract to develop. I his time he's been loaned out to two clubs, scored goals and developed, now Liverpool have sold him for a bit of profit. If that's a flop mate, I need to go and shut myself away and relearn everything I've learnt in my life about football. As I'm clearly way off.

Borini aint no flop. I'd call Cisse more of a flop. he was 28 last season, should have been his most productive season yet he was ****e, 10 million and a 5 and a half year contract for a half decent first season then being found out at an age he should be producing his best football.

Much what I have ment to say <bubbly>

Has anybody made a profit from a flop.i don't think so.ssn needs to get its fact right.

He is well worth the £14 m Gus has paid, look at the cost of Costa who Chelsea have signed £32 m will he do it in the premier league ? We know Borini can score 15-20 goals next season and we are not gambling, and he was the one player I wanted Gus to sign so I am chuffed, now go in for a left winger like milner .

Price is not always indicative of quality! Borini was highly rated at Roma before joining Liverpool. His stock has fallen dramatically in his time there but he is still a decent player.

Cisse has always been a 1 in 2 striker. No surprises he turns to **** under Pardew. If Cisse left us to play for a better manager,he'd bang them in again.

He was highly rated at roma , but that doesn't mean he signed to Liverpool to play main fiddle. The Bindippers had just paid 22m for suarez. He was always there to develop a loan are a great way to do that. The fact they've made some profit surely proves beyond doubt he's not a flop. It doesn't make sense. It suggests that Liverpool will be sat with their profit regretting it, which lets face it they won't.

How you doing mate anyway? When you coming to a game?

Borini starting for Liverpool today against Preston... Maybe this one's not as far along as the papers seem to think??

You're right! If this is true then he would not be one of the three who is rumoured to be having a medical this weekend! It would be incredibly foolish to play him if he was on the verge of joining us! This says to me that he is quite a way off signing at the mo! You wouldnt gamble £14 million on a meaningless friendly!!!

Everyone is reporting that we've agreed a fee. Local press, national press, SSN, BBC...

I'd be very surprised if we hadn't

Meh. At least you have signed a top line striker.

I'm not too bad really. Just chugging along nicely. How are you?

Depends on VJ really. Next time he fancies a trip up, I'm sure I can be persuaded ;)
