You've got this thing in your head about being coached in Liverpool since he was 7, Chester is only a few miles from here and Chester is only a spit and a piss away from the Welsh border, there's lots of kids that travel further than Woodburn had to at LFC and other clubs, so it's no big deal.

Why would LFC be perfect that the lad chose Wales?, If you don't mean his club who are you referring to?

Bruce Rioch was born a few miles away from Southampton but chose to play for Scotland, nobody gave a **** tbf, and the same applies to Woodburn or anybody else.

Bruce Rioch ...Scottish father. At least 1/2 Scots.Fair enough.

Born in Aldershot. Was his dad stationed there in the army?

Don't know Brecon mate, must have been loads of soldiers kids born on bases far and wide across the globe.
 
So funny, you've all missed the point.
Ben is a little mercenary and where he was born didn't come into it. He has Welsh Grandparents and English Parents and was born in England.

He just looked at the standard of football and world rankings and made a choice.

At 14.. I suppose 4 years ago he might have wanted to play with bale but.... well.. he missed out on playing with rooney. The fool....oh wait. Yeah, I see.
