Right, that is to be expected and we would do the same there, but you don't bend over and say here please! I think that's really all people are upset about. And yes I am over it, and my God I am ready for tomorrow. Ha'way the Lads.
A drunken mate has just messaged from the TV game he's gone to with some Wolves friends. He's got it all back to front but, if it's true, puts things in a slightly different light. There'll be trouble there today, it's the West Brom end, unlike our North Stand. "..seems Woolves were done same way as us ..the Chairman gave away all their home end to the Baggies ...and then offered them all a free pie and pint...like us , caused fng hell on ..but bebgood craic when I offload ayet corned beef pies to the fjers not buying them a pint mind !!!"
Just been mentioned they aren’t happy at halftime. Did the BCB or North Stand season ticket holders get a pie and a pint?
I'm sure everyone will now join me in congratulating SAFC on the way they handled a very difficult derby. The club presented a very professional front, despite the difficult circumstances, and kept trouble to a degree less than some normal games. Whoever was responsible is surely due a bonus and a promotion
So we made more money from the BCB, for the derby, than we did for Pritchard ... ... but people still aren't happy
No announcement doesn't mean no resolution. I would much rather they handled it discretely and professionally.
That's not enough for the self entitled club bashers who want a public hanging. In reality it's quite likley, that legally, the club can't publicly divulge disciplinary measures concerning an employee. Whatever the case you only have to look at the likes of this miserable crew to know it's pointless whatever the club say. I tried to watch but gave up when one of the clowns said, "I don't care what KLD says he must've must've known what was happening and signed it off." Sadly people believe that paying a few quid to watch a football match entitles them to demand the club jumps when they snap their fingers ... ... some dont even bother to support the team and think they're entitled. Some things are none of their business. https://www.youtube.com/live/Z4a8Zd14JLs?si=EBYZpEf_ZLvGD1_1
Nobody wants a public hanging. People want accountability. If there's no evidence of a resolution, then it's fair to assume there's no accountability and things like this will continue to happen.
We will not hear anymore about BCB issue, carpet swept and all that. Everyone keeps their jobs, as usual protect those around you, and keep your enemy closer.
It's hard to pin blame when they knew what was going to happen ... Just surprised they haven't told someone to carry the can or find a patsy. As this mistake will always be in the mind of many.
It will be if people constantly bring attention to it, I suppose, instead of supporting the club and putting it to the back of our minds like most of us will
Nah some people who rather proper action given the level of incompetence shown which caused national embarrassment. A drive to improve standards doesn't mean less support, it's actually the opposite.
Helping the person who made the mistake make better decisions, explaining consequences, values, ethics, rewards, building a culture of collective responsibility has a better outcome than a sacking where people then try to hide things or the good folk leave because it’s seen as unjust. If the club do what’s right despite the blood hungry noise I respect them more tbh
