I'd see this as a victory for NB when you consider the grounds on which he was sacked. "Wholly misleading comments" etc.

That said...as much as he's without a job & was forced to leave his hometown club under a cloud, can't help but feel this is a 'win' for NB.
How much would his reputation have been worth then?
How has he won? The statement is public and through his professional body; it lays no blame at the door of the owners but admits that his statements could have been misconstrued - did we all misconstrue his statements about not needing strenthening?
