Sounds like Nick's going to keep quiet. He must have got a good pay-off.

Thought all this wasnt about the money, Nick didnt care just wanted the truth to come out and he will be telling it all. Think you and Prem said that.

I think Nick sees no benefit in causing problems for Hull City AFC, or it's owners, so he's decided to spend Christmas in Barbados for the next ten years instead.

Rofl.

Sounds like both sides agreed they were at fault. Much like was said by some of us way back at the start of this debacle, along with the expectation there would be no hugely explosive Nicks side of the story type story. Shame neither side could have just said sorry at the time instead of way they both handled it.

Thank god we can move on now.

The Allams wont be going hungry either ;)

The truth has come out Chazzer. It was 50-50 responsibilty for acting like a pair of kids. That's it. Still on the bright side, the club is still being run efficiently by sound businessmen, we have a better team and better manager now so alls well that ends well!

I'd see this as a victory for NB when you consider the grounds on which he was sacked. "Wholly misleading comments" etc.

Mike White ‏@mikewhitesport
That said...as much as he's without a job & was forced to leave his hometown club under a cloud, can't help but feel this is a 'win' for NB.

Nick would also like to announce, that he's not going to go hungry any time soon. :emoticon-0105-wink:

How much would his reputation have been worth then?

How has he won? The statement is public and through his professional body; it lays no blame at the door of the owners but admits that his statements could have been misconstrued - did we all misconstrue his statements about not needing strenthening?

I'm afraid I don't know the precise amount.

You'll have join Twitter and ask them, they're not my quotes. <ok>

Statement published on the LMA website regarding the Barmby/Allam situation, which is now all resolved.

What a pitiful statement. Only the Allams thought that what Nick said was bad. A dreadful waste of nsuch a talent. If only Nick could be working under Steve Bruce and as part of his team. Whatever success the Allams have during there ownership the NICK BARMBY SAGA will forever muddy there waters. Such a shame. imo,.
