I thought the Humberside and ITV interviews were bad but the 5 Live one was much worse. I've said it before but how can anyone take him seriously. Who would want to invest in this club with him in charge. It is a good job Steve Bruce is mild mannered because I bet he has to bite his tongue sometimes. So he will give us a chance to vote by not buying a season pass. He knows full well that we all love the football, that is why we go so he has got us over a barrel. I am very very tempted not to renew my season pass but like I said I want to support the team. When we have shirts saying Hull Tigers will you all rush to buy them because he will not get a penny from me and this is the way we can make a protest. No to Hull Tigers keep on producing stuff for people to buy as an alternative. Wouldn't put it past him to ban anyone from wearing this stuff either. The sheer arrogance of the man. The few people on here defending him because he put money into the club ought to be ashamed of themselves. He is treating everyone with utter contempt. As for doing good works in Hull, its easy to throw your money around when you are rich to try and buy popularity. Can't you see he does it to feed his ego, nothing more than that. As for being a Doctor. I work with Doctors every day and I would not compare him to them at all.

He is just making it easier for Steve Bruce to do what Nigel Pearson did.

Jump ship to a club run by a less bizarre owner.

Not sure it's been mentioned but on humberside today they said someone in newbald has bought the trademark "hull tigers" might make things interesting if true..... Unless he's bought it with the intention of selling it

If that is true, the person should not sell it for less than what the Allams own...

I know that sounds ridiculous given the money. (I would probably be too tempted to sell at a fraction of what the Allams have)

Very smart decision by that person. Either way he'll make a profit or frustrate AA.

Correction....he is treating a couple of hundred big gobs with contempt. It's an interesting tactic. I.e. For him to appeal for the support of the silent majority to get the protest group to shut up .

He was handed a petition the size of a phone book, he knows perfectly well that there's thousands against it, it's why he won't hold a vote on the name change.

He knows he'd lose and lose badly.

This is true. There really is no other sport to compete with us within about 50 miles. Our catchment area is huge and totally undiluted. We don't have other teams nearby like in the North-East, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, North West, London, South-West, etc. We should be able to get huge crowds.

Rugby league has dragged everything down with it in Hull. It kills the spirit. Mouthbreathers are never going to get interested in anything worthwhile.

If my elephantine memory serves me correctly, a certain member of the CTWD group resides in North Newbald.

Whoever is interviewing him was brilliant, keeping his cool, must be hard when interviewing him.

He actually thinks our name is Hull City Tigers and always has been that. Has no-one from the Marketing department corrected him?

I think they might want to keep their jobs.

Yeah it's bizarre, he thinks he's championing the supporters' cause by keeping Tigers in our official name. The word I struggle to understand there is 'keeping'. It's never been part of our official name!

That's why I've long maintained it shouldn't be on the badge. It just gives the wrong impression, as it clearly has with poor old Allam.
