    If it isn't staged, Smith has just committed a criminal offence in front of millions of witnesses. He also must have one of the weakest punches around, especially given his training in his role for Ali. It was very generous of Chris Rock to lean forward to accommodate it too.

    Looks to me like he slapped him with an open palm. It also looks real to me. I think Rock looks totally taken aback.

    He might have been laughing along to the earlier jokes but his wife was very pissed when he joked about her alopecia.

    I guess we'll never know though.

    Smith's still laughing/smirking before, during and after it. To be fair, it's probably about the best he's acted for years. God knows how crap the others must be if he's 'best actor'.
