    Making art?

Is that like when you leave a Jesus face in the side of your pint in beer foam?

I s'pose it could be -it really depends on what you consider 'what is art'?

As jobs go -I honestly wouldn't mind having a go at something else for a while and just for a change, something totally different - **** knows what though ... maybe I'm going through a one of those mid life crisis ...

anyone with any suitable job ideas? feel free to hoy them my way <cheers>

That's something I know nothing about, art, very few things that aren't created naturally actually impress me. Normally I would appreciate it I guess if it had some sort of humour to it.

As for jobs, why not go into fortune telling? You are obviously already qualified, all you need is a cloak and a glass ball and not to wash for 5 months.

In Norway you pay tax on a sliding scale, if you earn next to nowt you pay very little tax, if you earn a lot you pay a hell of a lot of tax, I was on 48% before I retired. If you earn big and pay big tax, you get bigger share of benefits, except for the filthy rich who pay accountants to make sure they don't pay tax

48%. Bit of a random number.

So it goes up 1% per 1000 you earn?

Same here. sliding scale, but you get your money's worth in benefits, esp if you have kids.

I'm with you crumble, golf it is. In fact with that kind of spare cash I would invest in a course. Something to do after I've finished playing footie. Although I could probably extend my earnings and become a pundit. If that cockney twat Merson can do it so badly and still be employed there's hope for everyone.

If i ever won big coz i sure aint gonna earn big i would buy my local golf course and a few of the houses that border it coz they are whinging ****ers.
Build a new club house as ours is ****e but keep it as a pay and play course and try to encourage new golfers.
    Dream on eh? lol

I'd buy the course closest to where I grew up mate. Castle Eden, and then I would cancel all memberships because there all a bunch of self righteous bastards. I would then thoroughly vet new members (have to like a beer and support SAFC).

no mate, not played a huge amount of courses.
Castle Eden looks canny like except for why the **** do ladies get their golf cheaper than the men?
Men joining fee 500 and ladies is 324.
Subscription for men is 602 and ladies is 430, if that's not sexist what is?
just gonna look at the other one now.

<ok> There are 2 courses, the original JoG and the Carthagena. If you ever do play there make sure you play the JoG.

They alternate between 2&3 ball and 4 ball days on each course so that play isn't slowed down.

Agreed about the clubhouse. First job (once you are the new owner) is to sort the drainage out on the 17th.

Lol, that's why I would by couple of houses over the road and flatten them then re-create the 17th over the road.
We will never sort drainage out because of, nature society, the council and cove residents mate, we can't dredge the brook because the wildlife lot found a ****in newt in there??
Think I played it half coz times last year.
