He'd have a hard job. The ground is built on the original St James' Park where it got it's name from, and Ashley doesn't own the ground the council do.
Nope: it was the stadiums name..I hate to be a bastard, but isn't the pitch itself called St James' Park and can't be renamed, whereas the seating area etc is the SDA? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong![]()
Don't understand the issue me like. The stadium was renamed in November. It's only took him a couple of months to change the signs. Old news really.

O/T to your quote mate but are you on ship yet?
Reputation for what???Yeah but thet fans don't use the pitch, they use the stadium. Well, most fans other than you lot anyway, you've developed a bit of a reputation on that front.

Nope, got a call Tuesday night saying I'd be going by chopper on wednesday, but I'm still here, running up room service bills for the company to sign off on.

Using the pitch, I think he is winding about the Darlington match
That's not the point I was making, however, I wouldn't expect you to understand that being such an anti-Newcastle poster.
...I suppose most were Sunderland fans in the play offs and most were Forest fans in the FA Cup..Mass pitch invasions such as these is something which can't be compared to a few idiots who come on the pitch when a derby goal is scored..How?
