I hate to be a bastard, but isn't the pitch itself called St James' Park and can't be renamed, whereas the seating area etc is the SDA? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong <ok>

I don't think anybody has denied that, we're just saying we'll call it what we've always called it.

He can call the stadium what he likes I suppose, he can't change the name of the land it's built on though.

Yeah but thet fans don't use the pitch, they use the stadium. Well, most fans other than you lot anyway, you've developed a bit of a reputation on that front.

That's not the point I was making, however, I wouldn't expect you to understand that being such an anti-Newcastle poster.

Actually read my posts regarding Newcastle from my profile. I think you will find I am in fact not anti-Newcastle at all.

Its not as if I have been slating all things NUFC on this thread either. If you have not treated my comments in the light-hearted nature they were intended then I am dissappointed for you.

Most were Darlington fans...<laugh>...I suppose most were Sunderland fans in the play offs and most were Forest fans in the FA Cup..Mass pitch invasions such as these is something which can't be compared to a few idiots who come on the pitch when a derby goal is scored..
