Great replacement for Long. Also has an International career to pursue with Uruguay, with Forlan coming towards the end of his, so would be out to impress.

Despite him being big and black he's supposed to be relatively weak. Seems more of a pacey type who's got good feet but a bit lightweight from what I can find about hm.

Am I the only who hates Jim White?

I find his act excruciating and nauseating.

I hate the way SSN have turned Transfer Deadline into a soap opera and creaming there kegs when WBA sign a right back from the Slovakian fourth division.
 
Many postings on Twitter that say we have a great signing if it comes off. Many are surprised that a player of his calibre is going to sign for City.

SKY Sports star Jim White was banned from boarding a British Airways jet amid claims he had been drinking.

A witness at Glasgow Airport said the former Scotsport presenter was "pretty far gone".

The bystander added: "He appeared to have spilled something on his trousers and was definitely drunk. The staff had no option but to tell him he'd have to go and sober up."

White, believed to earn more than £150,000 a year, was knocked back from the 7.50pm flight to Heathrow on Tuesday. He was allowed to travel on the next flight an hour later.

When the Record phoned White about the incident, he said: "I was fine and I've nothing else to say. OK, thanks." He then hung up.

British Airways confirmed: "There was an incident involving a passenger on Tuesday evening. Due to this incident, the passenger was denied boarding the flight they were booked on but did board a later flight."

White was fined £750 and banned from driving for a year in 2005 after refusing a breath test. He told police: "I'm providing f****** zero."

A police source told the Record at the time: "White told officers they couldn't arrest him because he was interviewing Jose Mourinho the following day."

looking at twitter the main fans in awe of our new boy are Arsenal, Spurs, and Newcastle fans - all saying Bruce pulled off a major coup, and saying they cant wait to see him in the Prem...obv very highly regarded amongst the top Teams fans
