I disagree.
It's beyond funny how much bollocks they speak and how totally over the top it gets. I have in the past sat down with popcorn and laughed my arse off all night. My favourite was when Man Utd signed Berbatov and they actually announced that their sources had told them that Man City had tried to intercept him on the way from the airport.
From the videos I've seen and what others have said, he's FAST, but he's also got a nice finish. With Jelavic's ability to head the ball into space, plus his hold up play this is going to cause a lot of teams problems. I do like Long, who's gone, but I think Abel might be a better fit for what we've got and style of play.
My ONLY reservation is that I haven't seen how he is in passing, and more importantly if he's selfish. Because with his pace, he can open up defenses, and do a one two with Jelavic, which Jelavic needs, because he's a one touch goal scoring machine, he just doesn't have that right now.
I think this will either be an AMAZING signing or a flop. Time will tell but I have my fingers crossed.

Indeed where else can you get to see journalists with massive ego's get made to look like twats by the local drunken population whilst all the time they are getting soaked through by the pissing down rain.

Have to say this sounds a real cracker of a signing .. wiki describes him as fast creative and good in the air .. all we need now is elmo to find his radar and we're quids in
I'm just happy to see us showing real intent in the transfer market and building a squad that can do well this year but develop year on year with future additions.
My fear when we were relegated was that we might never experience the premier league again so soon and I'm sure I'm not the only one on here who ever believed that we would spend nearly 50 million pounds in 2 transfer window and not panic buys but real quality and not big money earners out for 1 last payday.
