How dare you have an opinion
Nobody said you shouldnt have an opinion. You made a claim regarding the benefits 'marketing wise' of alternating kits and you were asked to elaborate.
How dare you have an opinion
Here we go again
Like I said yesterday you just want to argue
You're not seriously trying to compare us to any of them are you
We are a piffling little club compared with them lot
Jesus Newcastle are the smallest on that list but are massive in comparison to us
No I don't, it's a genuine question which you don't seem to want to answer. What does the size of the club have to do with it?
Ok seeing has you're feeling lonely
If House of Fraser kept the same style shirts season after season, year after year would they increase sales ????
I know some on here hate the remotest mention of any kind of change but in our history( Yes History remember that I'm sure a few of you quite like our clubs history)
We have had both striped( and for OLMs attention) non striped shirts.
DEAL WITH IT QUILL

I seriously don't give a monkeys about marketing our team in the Far EastIf House of Fraser changed their branding every year would that improve corporate identity and brand recognition?
You're confusing 2 very different things - unit sales and marketing.
your not that bothered a about tradition then ???I'm well aware of what kits we've had over the years.
Personally, I don't object to having the odd plain version, but the issue being discussed was that of marketing and from that point of view, we would be better off sticking with one design.
The House Of Fraser analogy is nonsense.

It seems a couple of seasons in the big boys league has got people on the Brandwagon.
So

You've been getting extremely wound up for 2 years over nothing then

Very few clubs alternate their actual kit design; we're the Tigers, our black and amber stripes are probably our most recognsible USP, why would you want to get rid of them?
Club size has nothing to do with it, even teams like Cambridge Utd (who also play in black and amber) and Bournemouth wear stripes and you don't see them altering their kit as much as we do. The only reason we change the kit every year is because the club know that people will buy replica shirts if they're different, because things that are new and different sell better. It is essentially a massive money making scheme from the club. If people weren't clamouring to buy a new shirt every year, we wouldn't change the kit at all.
That's exactly the point he's been making...
Just accept that we can swap between the 2 and be uniqueVery few clubs alternate their actual kit design; we're the Tigers, our black and amber stripes are probably our most recognsible USP, why would you want to get rid of them?

Yeah no pinstripesAs long as we dont do pinstripes. I ****ing hate pinstripes.

Stop getting uptight about
Chill a bit

That's exactly what I meanBut he keeps calling it marketing. If he just meant pure shirt sales then that's not marketing.
