Not really, I know the new shirt was well received and sales started well, but I've no idea how they've ended up, obviously the badge issue will have had some effect.

I got one for my birthday. I prefer stripes but I've got lots of them that are almost identical. Before anyone says anything, they are from different seasons. My favourite was the Hull University one. How did they ever get to sponsor us? Where did the money come from?

At that time I don't think you would be looking at very much money to be the shirt sponsor

We looked great in hooped socks, though I think they are black next season, someone at the club doesn't like hoops apparently...

Black socks are much better than amber.

Still not as good as hooped.

I think we should have amber socks with white tops. So they look like two schooners of tiger beer.

They will have to sponsor us then.

I don't mind. I like the amber ones but either way, can we please have the same amber on the socks as the shirts? While I'm on about it, how about the same colour amber for the shorts when we wear those instead of black?

We shouldn't have amber shorts either, they're nearly as bad as the amber socks, they should be white or black.

I agree on not having amber shorts but if we have to have them for some unkown reason, let them be the amber of the shirts. Didn't we have stripes and white shorts the season Bremner played for us?

Eh? what in ****ting crikey are you talking about?! I'm not saying here that I love global branding in football and in no way whatsoever does it contradict what I was saying yesterday. You've completely flipped the content of my posts to the extent that I literally cant grasp your thought process. Have you just seen words in a sentence and then put together what you think they meant in context? I was asking you a straight question - in what way does switching the brand identity every other year mean it is better 'marketing wise'? As someone who has worked in PR and Marketing for nearly 20 years I'd like to understand this fresh viewpoint.

I'm not sure if this will work. I've never put an image on here before.

Jimmy McGill used to call Jeff Wealands 'Lurch'.

I see Everton are playing their final game in next seasons Umbro kit, so presumably it's our decision not to.
