Course you didn’t, just took you ten minutes to write a reply but you penned that novel in record time.

Spent your morning trying to make me look daft and all you’ve came up with is that I said mayenda was our worst player against Cardiff after saying I’d given him praise first two games. Buried me there mind.

Don’t know how I’ll go about my day now knowing that you are laughing at me :emoticon-0136-giggl
I would pack in while you are still losing<ok>

Nothing to do with Sunderland but wtf is going on at Chelsea ...

... the club looks totally out of control.

They're signing players for huge amounts, giving out ridiculously lengthy contracts and bringing in loads of players they can't possibly use. The PL seem to be just sitting on their hands while young players are swallowed up and spat on loans or just hanging around the club.

It's football but not as we know it.

I’m sure they’ll loan 400,000 players out and face zero sanctions again

I really like many of the players they sign but, as we found to our cost last season, you can't hope to develop young players efficiently when you have too many of them competing for minutes - and you're also trying to compete. Being selfish for a sec, though, there'll be some interesting loan opportunities from that club as the deadline draws near. Not sure where we'd fit them at SAFC if we get these two strikers though!

I'm sure the owners think it's like the NFL and you need a 40 plus roster lol

Madness. Carragher the other night had it spot on! Never mind where is he going to play where is he going to get changed for training!

Actually, that Chelsea thing (and the prospect of loan pickings) has just made me realise something. If we do get both Mendy and Isidor tied up fairly soon, this last week of the window is gonna be an odd one for us to navigate as fans. Pretty much a fully stacked squad (questions over RB cover aside). No obvious needs, not really much space for an Amad style game-changer - even if I wouldn't turn one down. The only tasks left are to find good loans for a fair few of our players, find permanent moves for one or two and then keep hold of our talent.

A big sale maybe changes things, but even then I dunno if it changes the first team all that much immediately. Probably the only positions that we have where we'd need an immediate replacement ready to go straight into the first XI would be if we sold Patto, Hume or Neil. I'm not sure even a Clarke sale would qualify for that group. If JC did end up going, I'd perhaps be minded to spend much of that cash on young players who would acclimatise in the squad over the next year.

Also regarding the LW thing. He’s played there 33 times and played CF 68 times. He’s also 6ft 1. To me he looks like a CF and has played there his whole career. His attributes seem to be perfect for the type of pressing forward we are after, if he can play in the wing it shows he’s quite mobile and good on the ball I’d imagine. Which is what RLB is after up top.

I think this lad could fit our system perfect, he seems to know where the net is too.

I hope we get him and Mendy but with similar types of strikers moving to champ clubs this summer I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s the main man.

I do hope for both though
