Shame no doubt some on RTG will be ecstatic.

He got so much stick for a local lad absolutely weird.
He’s a nice enough lad I’m sure but he’s not a very good full back at all.

Has a bit of pace and on the ball he’s tidy (without really creating a lot).

Defensively though, he is poor. I think he gets a bit of slack from our fans because he’s come through our academy, but if he was brought in from another team we would rank him similarly to McFadzean imo.

As I said, I’m sure he’s a nice lad but he’s a very poor full back - let’s not shy away from that.

He was poor but his injuries really done him in and it was always going to end up this way unfortunately. Sure he will have made a few quid from the game.

Yeah, no doubt about it that injuries had an effect on his game but I can’t think of one really good game the lad had for us, and he seemed to be a constant weak link when we played him at LB.

Anyways, best of luck to him. Should get a lot of games at that level if he stays injury free.

He was crap though.
Yes he wasn't good at all. Agree with both of you, but people would laugh when he got injured again.

Even if he wasn't a local lad, just weird behaviour.

Think people are being really harsh on him tbh. There are so many variables to making it as a pro footballer, even getting through the academy without getting booted out is an achievement. He must have been very highly thought of as a kid and the best of the bunch. To then make it all the way through and into first team is quite an achievement - one he should rightly be proud of. He picked up so many injuries and was never able to get extended periods of football or become robust enough to the demands of men's footy at safc..shame for him.
And no I'm not denvers dad. Just someone that knows a bit about academy and youth footy

And, despite endless flak, he's remained loyal, enthusiastic and uncomplaining ...

... not to mention a total lack of bringing any problems to our door in all that time.

Aye he’s always, always shown up and he’s been decent for the most part.

Don’t mind the lad at all.
