    Great performance and great result.
A special mention for our keeper, Earp.
She hasn’t had to do too much, throughout the tournament, but as she did against Spain (the cross come shot) she has pulled off a great save at an important time of the game. That tip over at 2-0, at a time when Sweden were building momentum and pressure, was absolutely crucial. If that had gone in the whole complex of the game could have changed.
    Well done ladies

Cracking game, against second best in the world... loved the fact maguire was at the game learning from millennium Bright how to defend properly. Iirc, that's through to the final having conceded just 1 goal... cracking... come on Sunday for the final v germany....

Having watched/re-watched France's equaliser, it appears that if the German keeper hadn't bothered to dive, the ball would have hit the post and rebounded to (relative) safety. However, as the keeper did dive, the ball hit the post, hit the back of the diving keeper's head and finally went in. An unfortunate goal, but hey, it's the Germans.

So, exactly 56 years and one day after the last time, England host Germany at Wembley in the final of a major tournament.

So, do we stick with Greaves, or try out Hurst?

Funnily enough, the debate over White and Russo is vaguely similar!

Hat-trick for Russo then. Will there be a Russian linesperson? (Probably not, tbh)

It hasn’t quite worked out for White, so far, but Russo has been a really good impact sub.
She offers something different to White, by putting herself about across the width of the pitch , which I think unsettles defences.
IMO, White stays more central looking for the ball through the channel giving defenders an easier time.
