I think that England's performance was determined last night. Probably the best advertisement for the women's game I have seen. I totally agree about the standard of football on offer. Loved the cheeky back-heel in the first half which was delivered with the panache of someone like Stan Bowles. It was more exciting than watching the bloke's team and great to see the players enjoying being able to express themselves in a football pitch. I've been ipressed by Russo.
Thoroughly enjoyed the match, not often my wife and daughters will sit and watch a game with me. Quality of football was excellent (no caveat 'for a women's game'). Tempo of the game made it very entertaining; the athleticism and technical skills were impressive.
