Absolutely nobody seen this coming except from Oli Wagkz owa the rerd to be fair.

June 1st.

"The board is already heavily KLD inclined with directors involved in other family business ...

... there's not much room for new directors and MLD is already there.

If this isn't a 'dynasty situation', as I was told, I'll be quite surprised."

I was told that by a lad on RTG who won't post because of the ridiculous amount of shyte people have to put up with.

Not surprising when people are still sniping away after this great news <doh>

No more Methven <party>
Over the moon about KLD becoming majority share holder and I am very happy with Methven leaving.

For me Charles was by far the most odious of the chuckle brothers and seemed the one least interested in football.

General natter follows and is in no way directed at you @Hudson92

I still hate the remaining chuckle brother for the asset stripping, for appointing Parkinson plus a whole lot more reasons to boot, but I'm not going to be bothered about him keeping a minority stake with no say in running the club.

We won promotion at Wembley but it is today that feels like the start of the future for SAFC that was won on that pitch and I'm letting nothing take that shine off the day.

Ha'way the lads!

Onwards and upwards now we can focus on getting in the players we need and having a right go this season!

Can't see SD hanging around long, he hasn't got the money surely?

Clinging on for dear life... wants his premier league payday so in the short term will need to stump up the cash to meet the ambitions of KLD and JS. Him staying on may be a positive sign that he believes he'll get that, otherwise his shares will just leak away given how much money a championship club can suck up.

I was told what I posted months back. Prefab and myself have known each other for years away from here. He knows the person who let slip to me. SD remaining shareholding will go to someone already involved but not necessarily a current shareholder.

Let's see if they're big hitters then, been plenty of talk about him and sartori since we got promoted, now should be the start of their ambition.

I doubt they're investing all that money on shares to spend years losing money in the Championship tbh.

People like KLD want to create something, they don't need to be spending time in the far NE watching Wigan on a wet Tuesday night.

This news and we have sold a shed load of season cards, we have a good manager a decent squad and no doubt will bring better quality in....... What a difference KLD has made to our club that was once in freefall
Absolutely. Some folk are so obsessed with SD and CM that they seem to have missed that KLD has transformed this club Him and his family are playing an absolute blinder they have a long term plan and are just getting on with it. Two billionaires running the club Promotion and a top class manager SD now an irrelevance CM gone. We are in good hands and I don’t think we are finished yet. People need to just sit back and enjoy the ride. My old man used to say. “Children and fools shouldn’t see a job half done “

I'd be very surprised if we don't at least go very close this season. You are spot on with that you say. We'll have a lot of clout in the championship.

I am not normally one to speculate but reading KLD’s carefully worded statement, specifically, “Our ownership group has been consolidated and there will be no further sale of shares to a third-party buyer”. It confirms to me what I have thought (hoped) for a while. That KLD has played Donald and Methven like a salmon on a line.

To put out a simple statement like that which says much more than its words, KLD must have everything sewn up and water tight in his favour.

I am convinced that any delay in the sale of shares wasn’t Donald and Methven procrastinating or playing the market, but KLD having a bit of sport with them, knowing the hook was well in and he already had them in the net. No one in their right mind would buy 39% of a football club and have no say over future direction.

I reckon that Donald and Methven have been desperate to sell all along and KLD has waited until they have paid the parachute money back into the club through matched funding. I also reckon that’s why KLD has left Donald with 19%, to make sure he fully reimburses the club

Methven was out of his depth and Donald desperate to sell in order to purchase Eastleigh, but KLD has them by the short and curlies and dancing to his tune.

I hope to god I am right

Wouldn't go like that mate. There was 1 group absolutely far in the process who wanted the piece. Both Methven and Donald saying to folk they were done.

It's probably more of a situation where KLD has exercised his rights and jsut hoovered up what he wanted.

How much will KLD paid Donald for his shares mate?
