kicking off everywhere on some media outlets about us not going through with our transfers lol. c'mon we have missed out on 2 players that nobody has heard of and how much were we really involved? let's see what the end of the transfer window deals us before I start kicking up any dust.

Sunderland fans are having a great time feeling the players are choosing them over us, they might be, more likely we have several options and we’re not willing to pay over the odds.

I wasn’t convinced about Sidiki and I wasn’t totally sold on Habib either, I had to Google/Wiki each

The danger is you slowly get beaten to all the targets and waste an entire transfer window or end of with 3rd and 4th choices

Both chancers mate they might turn out to be world beaters but they also could be expensive duds. Good on them for taking the chance. But I really don't think either were 1st choice targets.

Example: Sebastiaan Bornauw just heard in his interview. he said we were interested in him since January. We certainly kept that very quiet from everyone.
Like most of our future additions We don't blow trumpets. There is enquiring about players and testing waters but they don't mean they are signings. I'm quietly confident 3-4 very good players are coming to our club that these media glory hunting, I'm in the know clickbait platforms no zip all about.

He spent the entire season sat on the bench. Can't blame the lad for having the hump, and not being allowed to go out on loan.

Didn’t say I blamed him. Think we all felt a loan deal was best for the club… but. If the club wanted to keep him as cover for injuries and he doesn’t like bench warming?

there doesn’t always have to be someone at fault.

Sunderland are doing what I thought we’d do, get the bigger fee players in swiftly before others start sniffing

The only annoying aspect is we’ve had long enough to know what the fees would be, if we disagreed with it the interest should have stopped there and then and not waste any further time

I believe we were in the Diarra but not Sidiki.

Sounds like the reports of us matching Sunderland price for Diarra were well wide of the mark.

We were looking at £5-8 million for a punt on Sadiki. Sunderland having a real go in the market.

Leeds have insinuated that they want Premier League experience. That would probably mean waiting for other clubs to conduct their business before we move.

Solomon is a prime example. Frank wants a look at him but if he doesn't fancy him then all of a sudden we have a good chance at getting him.

Not many “sources” know our transfer business until it’s a done deal. Think we need to move on from Solomon, he clearly wants to stay at Spurs.

Told we made a £10m bid for Sadiki (or 11m euro, whatever that is). I get we want players at the right price but we don't want to be left with the crap either....

Same applies to every single transfer. They can go anyway

totally agree but some you know are proven Prem Players. who you know can do it. There's Lots of great Foreign footballers out there but quite a few can't adapt to Premier League football even though they are ballers in other Countries. But I totally agree any transfer can go the wrong way with a bad injury and can't get back to what he was ,Age, lack of commitment. everything is a risk.

This is a ****ing joke. The 49ers better get their fingers out of their ass and have some insane signings by the end of this week, or they can pack up and **** off.
