https://rokerreport.sbnation.com/20...e-sunderland-kyril-louis-dreyfus-takeover-pod

Good listen this week the RR Pod......They give countless reasons (as we all know) why PP needs to go

*One stat they bring up which I didnt know is...since Sunderland have been in League 1 since relegation, we have never occupied position 1 or 2 in the table......surely things can only get better ffs

It's what happens when you have a manager whose mindset is don't get beat rather than let's go win. Ross was the same as Parky for that.

I think I agree with Grigg and McLaughlin and probably Graham. The others I’d like to see with a new boss first but I’m being kind to say OBrien I realise. Dobson I’d keep. The principle is right though.
Defiantly need a new manager before any rash decisions are made with regards to players. If he can work their magic with them, then all the better. The style of play may suit players that were on the fringe etc.

He's a huge WUM preying on the gullible over there. He uses hardly decipherable cryptic messages to present even barely credible info. His latest stunt about "Storey chucking in a bigger offer, which had to be discussed and declined",is an insult to anyone's intelligence. He's changed his tune on all of this countless times once he sees which way the wind is blowing. It'd be mildly amusing if it wasn't so tedious.

Storey would need to do due diligence to make an offer.

The club have said he isn't a possible buyer.

He doesn't have a spare 500k/million for due diligence.

He wouldn't pass the EFL test anyway.

Exactly. Which begs the question why would someone post something which clearly has no possible foundation in fact,if it's not a baseless, pathetic attempt to deceive?

Mad Bob got a bit upset when someone said that storey must be his contact, lol. As far as I'm aware a bankrupted person won't pass the EFL test and his company has just been made bankrupt. Is this correct

Think you might have got more info on the Golf course rather than a bike ride mate<laugh>....that may be why the takeover might be taking too long, as most business deals are concluded on the Golf course the Sunderland takeover is been discussed during a peloton meeting and Donald cannot keep up with the pack...hence they are so far apart<laugh>

Just imagining Donald on a kids tricycle trying to keep up to Sartori and KLD on their Olympic standard road bikes....

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. My head's just fallen off I've laughed so much at that.

Read a post from him today saying that Storeys was the best bid and had to be discussed. DD had been done. That was the hold up according to Berb.....after saying categorically there "Was no takeover"

My limited experience of MadBob over these last few months suggests that he’s the kind that does get genuine ITK info direct from good sources, but he doesn’t get anywhere near as much as he’d like, which frustrates him. So he then posts nonsense pretending that he knows more than he does.

Reminds me of a time when my company were bidding for work with a large PLC. My wife’s uncle is the chief executive there - so they assumed that I’d be able to get inside knowledge. I managed to get some over a beer but it was pretty worthless stuff, yet they kept asking me for stuff. I met this guy most weekends for bike rides and I was desperate to be able to prove that I had a good contact and put it to use but I was unable to.

just speculating like, but it feels like Bob is in a similar boat but is taking the “make stuff up but keep it vague” position. Would explain why he gets some stuff right and others crazily wrong.

Agreed 100%. I do believe he hears things from sources in the club, but he's not as connected or as informed as he thinks he is, or as how he tries to portray himself, so he posts vague stuff to make it look like he's more informed than he really is.

He's now openly admitted to wumming the board by sending accurate info by pm and posting vague nonsense on the forum. As you say it's a never ending story that he's making up as he goes along. Amazing that people believe what he says and debate it, yet believe the CEO, Guardian and everyone else is lying.

"I would not post on here stuff that was 'actual info' , !!! NAH I will just stick with the PM s it's easier that way the rest on here can just keep guessing. Good night."
He's his own worst enemy for abuse

Finance expert explaining why SD and CM are keeping hold of a percentage. Amazes me how many of our fans cannot get their heads round the fact they were never going to totally leave and were always going to try and cash in for more at a later date

Just the equivalent of selling a player with a "buy-on" clause....makes perfect sense, especially if he can't get his asking price at the outset.

I think he may have had some inside knowledge at some point in the past, not now though.
Reminds me of a time when I had a contact at the club, when Terry Butcher was manager,so many moons ago. I used to know the team, tactics and any inside gossip on a Friday afternoon.Of course, there was no internet then,it used to arrive by fax! I never said anything to anyone, but I used to amaze my drinking mates on a Friday night during our discussions of what we thought the team might be. Often I would deliberately include someone I knew wasn't playing just to throw them off the scent,in case they got suspicious! It all ended when Butcher got sacked,it didn't last long....I don't think he was there for even a year......and I've never had anyone on the inside again!:emoticon-0101-sadsm
