So as we stand this morning 4th August we have released or loaned out 9 players. We have sold 15 players and on top of that could be in the process of selling:
  • Ideguchi
  • Pearce
  • Roofe
  • LDB
Ideguchi and LDB should be confirmed shortly and If Pearce and Roofe are confirmed that would mean 28 players gone in this window.

There are also the likes of Cibicki, Nessy, O'Kane, Bouy and Anita which will mean a huge 33 players moved out

The young boy Ben White best player on the park. Who would disagree and who agrees that Bielsa sees things we mortals dont. He brought this kid in because he wants a CB to do certain things in a certain way. White delivered in spades. So if Bielsa wants some teenagers who am I to question it

That's unbelievable until you pointed it all out. The majority were neccessities to get rid of but the one rumour still persisting is regarding Phillips. He is vital for our season going forward and under no circumstances should he be sold.

Do we have any clarity on either O'Kane's or Rae's status?

Even looking at this simplistically at this point, i.e. 5 in, 25 out, that's a lot of extra wages we were paying out last season. At a conservative average of £3k pw, that's about £3m saved in wages alone.

Could save a further £2m a year by finding a mug to take Casilla off our hands.

Nessy has refused a move to a L1 club so far
LDB is close to being gone but negotiating his release terms as Greek club want him.
Anita also close but a greedy git and wanted too much in wages from a Greek club so speaking to an MLS team.
O'Kane I have no idea as he should be back to full fitness now
Cibicki is a wanted man
Bouy is useless and needs releasing
Pearce will end up being loaned out

Regarding all those wages you need to remember that these players will be paid by the clubs who loaned them, yes a couple will have had wages subsidised by us but in the main they paid their way. However you are correct in saying a few million now off the wage bill :emoticon-0148-yes:

Thanks @Doc for keeping this one up to date, it’s been more than handy keeping up with the outgoings I’d never have remembered them all.

I’m removing the sticky unless anyone would prefer it to remain a while longer.
