Just a guess.... but I think the Allams would want a stake holding in any potential redevelopment in the surrounding land
This is the problem.
The Allams want a chunk of any potential development that may occur in the future (as they were the ones who originally wanted to do that) as part of the deal. It isn't something that's going to cause the sale of the club to collapse. It's just a niggle. The buyers will either offer more money as part of the sale, or they'll agree to some sort of developmental rights it to push it through.
Although I understand completely why nearly everybody has created a hole in their walls with their foreheads, it isn't worth worrying about.
It won't be done before Christmas because Christmas is next week.
