Agent Margetson infiltrates behind enemy lines. Although the way Hart played in France he doesn't need coaching to be any worse.

Sorry to see Fabio go. I wish him well. He certainly gave his best efforts.

Some good news at last with Huws' signing. Hope he can quickly make his mark. <ok>

Gutted to see Fabio go, but we cant afford to turn down 2 million for a player at the end of his contract.

    Welcome to Cardiff Emyr!

According to WoL Villa now looking at Gunnar for £2m. He appears very popular with other Championship clubs.

However with O'Keefe likely to be out for a few weeks we could be a bit light in the nuts and bolts part of the pitch. We could always keep Dikgacoi I suppose. <yikes>

Villa fast becoming a team of ex-City players with Ross and Gestede already there.

Bit unfair Jay. Unless that was a retaliatory gesture to Phyllis.

Jazz and Declan were our best attacking threats until QPR pressed higher up the park second half and they were pushed back. If I had one criticism of Jazz it would be that his final ball is not as directed as Declan's. Neither full back had any blame for the goals.

Hope we can improve Wednesday and make their keeper earn his wages. If nothing else.

Richards and John were both inept in thier roles against QPR, neither can cross a ball and both look like 4th division players. Heap of crap

Got to disagree there Isaw. The whole team were poor but they were the best of a bad bunch and Declan had a good first half.

Certainly no one was any better and Whitts, Immers, Ralls and Manga had mares. O'Keefe's energy and bite was missed in the middle. No one knew how to put a foot in.

Sorry BfB I must go with Isaw, re Declan he has no final ball.

We can all blame the strikers but if we don't make chances ?

Whitts needs to move on, he's so stale in a City shirt and needs a new club.

Will have to agree to differ Dai and Isaw as I thought Declan was trying to pick out anyone (not many I know) we had in the box. He looked up and tried to measure his crosses. Jazz was more hit and hope and scuffed one so badly he turned his ankle. But what I'm saying is that at least they got forward first half and it's not their fault they had little to target. QPR's change of tactics by pushing up second half put a stop to most of that as Bristol Rovers did in the cup.

Our approach was slow there should have been plenty of time for people to get forward but apart from Fred and Pilks there was hardly anyone there. Immers was played way too deep and his runs into the box were severely missed. Probably his worst game since coming to us.

Agreed on Whitts. I suspect Huws has been signed as his replacement. The short term loss of O'Keefe will have a big effect as little energy in the middle of the park and, as we saw in the latter part of last season, he managed to get into the box as well and scored a couple.

Tomorrow night will either confirm our worst fears or give us a glimmer of hope. However, Blackburn are hardly likely to attack and we will see a severe case of bus parking. With that in mind our best chance will be set pieces and I would have Morrison on from the start as he is a much greater goal threat in those circumstances. Who to drop? If we stay at 5 at the back then Manga who is always an accident waiting to happen. If we go to 4 then Peltier to rb for Jazz and Morrison in for Manga.

That would allow either Huws to start (or even Gunnar) and go 4 - 3 - 3 with Immers pushing forward with Pilks/Fred and Huws/Ralls and then Whitts or Gunnar in the middle. Or start with Noonie to give a bit of pace.

Apparently there is a conference at some point today to discuss transfers. I actually feel for Trollope, he has a hell of a task ahead of him to release Tans grip of his wallet.

Simon Moore gone to Sheffield Utd for £500k. Trolls says we are after an understudy keeper for Marshie, full/wing back who can play either side and a striker.

Best get a shift on then.

    All that before Fulham? <laugh>

Goodluck to Sime! Decent player but was never going to get a game ahead of Marshie.

Do not agree Moore was never going to be number one at city, and 500k is good business.
