That bitch. She said she was all mine, sort of, as she brushed past the camera. It was in her eyes. Anyway I still love her. She is my gold medal girl of the games so far.
Tell you what, as I can see you're taking it badly, as far as I'm concerned she's all yours. If it's Ok for me to look occasionally from the sidelines I'll be satisfied with that.
Well, good news/bad news for the Canadian women's soccer team*. They just beat the Germans for the first time ever, to top their group. Their reward appears to be a likely quarter-finals appearance against France, the third-ranked team in the world, while the Germans will face either the Swedes or Chinese, neither of whom are as good. So they avoid the US in the semis...but only if they get there. *That's the official name, so that's what I type.
Two more swimming medals....silver for Siobhan-Marie O'Connor in 200 m Individual Medley and silver in mens 200 m freestyle. The other sports had better up their game....most of our medals involve getting wet!
Taking the Portugal sneaky route through is the tried and tested method. Preferably only winning 1 game all tournament
Blimey, alternative view of the Dutch girl's crash in the road race - whatever the rights and wrongs of the course, the fact it takes over 2 mins to get her any medical attention is scary.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/36984887 A bit of fun.Who is your Olympic body match? It matched me with three 30 year olds so I'm happy!
