Polly I think those of us who've followed the "swings and arrows of outrageous fortune" of Hull City year in year out since the 1940s, such as Blue Mountain Bear, and Roo, myself, and others on here may have a slightly different perspective on the current chaos surrounding the Club. I'm as infuriated by the owners actions over the past 2-3 years as anyone else on here, but I still wake up every morning almost euphoric that we are actually about to begin another season in the top tier of English football, with the quality of players that we could only dream about 15 years ago. For a good part of the past 70 years the highlight of my week in Canada and the US was reading our match reports in a tattered Green Mail which often took weeks to arrive. Now I can wake up at 6.30 on Saturday mornings, turn on the big screen, and watch the lads in real time playing against some of the best teams in the world, and actually being competitive.
All I can say is...Thank you Lord.!! Despite all the current chaos, its still far better than I could have expected in my wildest dreams years ago. I'm proud to be from Hull and say I support Hull City
