Don’t usually take friendly’s too seriously but actually enjoyed parts of last nights game. Both sides were obviously missing key players but whilst Brazil oozed class at times the compulsory cynical fouling associated with the South American game went down like a fart in a wet suite at Wembley . England on the other hand played the usual possession and set peace game but once Bellingham was pulled to be honest looked a little bereft of anything different or serious going forward and definitely missed Saka and Big Harry up front in what really was a glorified exhibition game for both teams.

I'd love us to win the Euro's, at the same time I wouldn't, because Southgate would be lauded as a great manager (the press would likely say 'best since Alf Ramsey,' when he shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as TV and BR) and the FA will likely sign him up for another 15 years... with what he has at his disposal... !!!!!@@@!

People are just deranged with football opinions lately.

Well, that's a bit deranged but you do you, as the kids say. However, I'd suggest you could mention him in the same breath as El Tel, considering Southgate got England to a final which Venables didn't, and considering Southgate's win rate is 63% versus Venables' 47%. However, Southgate's a bit woke and EL Tel could carry a tune so I'm sure that makes you right.

James Trafford and Rico Lewis have moved across from the U21’s to join the England squad.

It follows the withdrawal of Harry Maguire, Kyle Walker and Sam Johnstone through injury.

Worked for Brownie !

Actually, it was a decent watch, both good footballing sides.

Gallagher is not good enough and Chilwell had a mare, we looked weaker when Walker went off injured, then weaker still when Bellingham went off. Bowen looked great in his cameo, as did the kid from Man United.

We never look as dangerous in the final third when Kane is missing.

Pretty much spot on OLM if you don't mind me saying.
