If he does sign which at this stage I would rate at 50 50, that would indeed give a bigger clue with regards the proposed future ownership of the club.

Do you remember Roman's takeover at the bridge? Was the media aware of that takeover pre the conclusion? There is lots of clues there !
Bottom line is this. Bernie and Flavio will not bankroll cole and neither will Fernandez. I repeat none of them have the funds nor the will to do so. Therefore if he does sign, he will not be their marquee signing he will be somebody else's.
I don't doubt you at all Cerny, you were one of the first posters i'd look out for on the old 606and it's great your posting on here. I just like to have it all laid out in laymans terms as i'm just a simple lad who hated Agatha Christie!!
If we are we just about to sign puncheon and DJ and we can only have 25 players named won't that be to many or is the puncheon deal looking off ?
So cerny if all this is going to happen then will it be in place by the start of the season? And more importantly will we have a damn sponsor on our yet to be seen new home shirt?

I'm sorry about the cryptic nature of my posts. I believe it will be either Pirelli or air Asia with the first being more likely but don't hold me to that.

That's where I think CernyB's at. It's not that he doesn't want to but simply can't say more than he does. So he chooses to go cryptic to suggest which way the wind's blowing without risking his position in the scheme of things.
Is he having a laugh? He must be with some of our responses (I think we're all having a bubble tbh) but I don't think that's his primary purpose.
Having doubted him at the get go, I find myself hanging on to his every word trying to add 1 + 1 and never quite making 2. Also, it's not lost on me that Cerny makes clear that some of his predictions come true and others don't. You might see a storm coming but it doesn't always actually hit.
I think I speak for most of us when I say it's great having him on here with us and we just want him to keep doing what he does. Great fun! Thanks Cerny B.

But Fernandez doesn't appear to have to funds to invest in the club anyway!- yet we haven't ruled him out yet. The signing of cole wouldn't really change anything imo. There must be something going on behinds the scenes, becauseo n the face of things you couldn't see fernandez blowing half his fortune on QPR.
Hey, Cerny, I'm another who appreciates your insights. Don't take umbrage at the doubters. But, of course, you stand or fall by your hit rate. My reading of your tips, both on the original 606 and here, is that you have got some key stuff right.
As for Joe Cole, like some others, I think our focus should be on at least one full back, probably two as we're short on numbers in that department, plus a quality centre back to beef up the overall quality in that department. May be a defensive midfielder too, cos we have limited cover for Faurlin and Derry. Needn't cost a fortune but if Mordy wants to throw some money our way, so much the better!
