Just look at the way Bernie does business in F1 - real brinkmanship (even tried to keep Bahrain GP alive when everyone else knew it was dead), all run on personal relationships with the ultra rich, all about making yet more money. He has plenty of time to make his £ out of the club - end of the transfer window/ start of season our deadlines not his - only when the value of his investment is threatened (if we are really struggling before Xmas, running out of time to turn things round) will he feel pressure. If he can get his cash quick he will take it, If not expect endless game playing....I hope Cerny's cryptic hints are as accurate as they are entertaining (long may they continue) but second guessing Bernie is beyond me....
Cerny, you seem to have lowered the level of cryptisism with your posts on this thread, you are saying the Russian's on the way in? I concur with Brixton that the hint based information is due to wanting to tell us, but not being allowed to. I'd love to know what you do / who you know at the club and how you get your info (not an RFI). Cheers all the same, especially if you are putting your neck on the block.
Cerny Thank you for this. It clears everything up for me. So its struggle on for the moment until they sell.
Maybe Fernandes is hanging around to sort a sponsorship deal with us? Can't really think he has cash for 51% of the club. Flav + Bernie don't mind having him around + the media speculation that others are interested could only bring the bidding price higher? All if's and but's, though the thing is when Fernandes went in for WHU he sang it from the rooftops, all over twitter, papers etc before he got told to f-off by Sullivan/Gold. He hasn't said a peep to anyone re. Qpr, what does that show? Im going grey(er). Just hope this saga ends soon
Joe Cole has been linked on a loan move to QPR with Liverpool part funding his wages • Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole is on the verge of a loan move to QPR. The England international just needs to agree personal terms with Neil Warnock's men before penning a year-long deal at Loftus Road. It's understood a third of Cole's wages will be funded by Liverpool. The Rs will also announce the signing of Blackpool striker DJ Campbell on Friday for £1.25million.
Love it CernyB! You're just like my local phone and subscription agent. There's things he can't say to the customers but he gives cryptic hints and only guides you to ask the right questions re how to exploit the subscriptions and complaints re your phone. Theres a mystery shopper diploma behind him on the wall saying that he's the best liked retailer at the shopping mall If i could, you would get a diploma too.
Nice one I'll have a look ====================== http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...join-qpr-loan-if-personal-terms-can-be-agreed
As much as Joe Cole would be a good signing, I think our midfield is the one area we dont really need any new players in. Id much rather that money be put into a couple of quality defenders, then along with our current signings, including DJ Cambell, really feel we can give it a good go next season! Cant wait for the 13th now!
Bloody Hell Cerny even I can guess that it might be 50/50 that he signs!!! Do yourself a favour and save a load of grief by not painting a huge target on yourself lad!
we have to keep the ball simple as and last night albeit at Crawley at times we didn't ... Ali Faurlin gave it away a few times in the first half. The difference between is simple any defence looks at ease if you are able to retain possession if we have a comfortable core and of course Cole must add to that? Gorkss honestly looked good last night i think he would give his all if it was a park game
Gorkss may have looked good against Crawley and he is a quality Championship player.....my fear is that he is too slow for the Premiership......just my opion though.
The clues are getting even more cryptic. These cryptic hints would even confuse Ted Rogers on 3-2-1 (one for our younger readers there). I'll leave you all to decide which of our signings was Dusty Bin. It certainly kept us entertained over the summer anyway.
I agree its defenders we need, and I wouldn't get rid of Gorkss. On the ownership front, I'm encouraged that Cerny's sources aren't confirming it's a done deal with Fernandes as the Papers seem to assume. As suggested above, I suspect the Goons are keen to keep the contest wide open for a while to get the best price - Personally, I wouldn't rule out the Mittals although I accept they're not frontrunners. The Asian and the Russian are dark horses. If the Russian was to come in and say he'd do a Roman Abramovich on the club, I think most fans would say - Oh, go on then, twist my arm...
The England international just needs to agree personal terms with Neil Warnock's men before penning a year-long deal at Loftus Road. ------------------------ That will be a NO then.
